Mijas Pueblo is the historic village heart of the municipality of Mijas, in the province of Malaga. It sits on the slopes of the Sierra de Mijas, a short drive inland from Fuengirola. From its viewpoints you can see across the coast to the sea. It keeps the character of a traditional Andalusian white village, with narrow streets, flower-decked houses and shady plazas lined with cafés, restaurants and small shops.
