It has a relaxed marina atmosphere and quiet coves, and is close to Alcúdia's medieval walled old town, with its markets, restaurants and Roman ruins. The long sandy beaches of the bay and the dramatic Formentor peninsula are nearby, and the area has good road links to Palma.
