Artà is one of Mallorca's most charming inland towns in the island's north-east. Its honey-stone streets are crowned by the Sant Salvador sanctuary and its fortified walls. The town has a lively Tuesday market, good restaurants and galleries. The beaches of Cala Mesquida, Cala Torta and Colònia de Sant Pere are a short drive away, as is the Llevant Natural Park.
