Taberno is a traditional whitewashed village in the hills of northern Almería. It offers shops, cafés, a bank, a school and a municipal pool, and is around 15 minutes' drive from the property. The busy market towns of Albox and Huércal-Overa are roughly 30 minutes away. The Mediterranean beaches of Mojácar and San Juan de los Terreros can be reached in about 50 minutes. The area offers sunshine, a relaxed pace of life and an established British community.
