El Peñoncillo lies on the edge of Torrox on Málaga's Costa del Sol Oriental, a short drive from the centre of Nerja. Torrox is said to enjoy one of the best climates in Europe. Its golden sands, clear waters, beachfront promenade and relaxed restaurants make it a favourite with British buyers. The whitewashed old town, the Sierras of Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama, and easy access to Málaga airport make the area equally appealing for holidays or a permanent home by the sea.
